We love winning

Over our 80+ years, we and our clients have won more awards than we can count. Winning never gets old. Not because of the celebration and fanfare (though that’s great too) but because it means we’ve done truly influential work that’s made an impact on bus

Our Heritage

With a legacy spanning over 80+ years, MSL’s founders were the pioneers of PR. They built a foundation for the future-forward, award-winning global public relations agency we are today.

In 1938, James P. Selvage and Morris M. Lee, Jr. founded one of the first PR firms in the U.S.: Selvage & Lee. Selvage was a Press Agent and later the PR director for the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM). Lee was the Information Director for NAM and a PR executive at International Telephone & Telegraph. In 1972, they were joined by Farley Alden Manning, who started as a reporter in 1931 but became deeply ingrained in public relations after joining the U.S. Army Air Corps.

From Manning, Selvage & Lee to MSLGROUP to MSL Group to MSL, our name has evolved with time – and so have we. Today we are renowned in the industry for our prowess in digital and data, our strategic agility and our cutting-edge creative. We have an unmatched ability to lead through integration. We pride ourselves on being a progressive agency. Our company’s CEO is an inventive and powerful woman, who leads a 33% diverse and 67% women on the executive team. We will never stop evolving, growing and challenging the status quo because we believe diversity of thought, opinion and perspective is critical to sustain ingenuity and provide exceptional service to our clients.
